Handcrafted sterling silver ring set with a 7×5 mm pinkish tourmaline, 2x freshwater pearls, 6x 2.5mm rhodolite garnets. Size 6.5.

Named for fragaria, the strawberry, this one-of-a-kind ring gathers the ripe pink tones of fruit and blossom into a marine Venusian form. A pink tourmaline and a scattering of rhodolite garnets are set among pale pearls and sculpted silver, like an offering of wild strawberries made to Venus, tossed into white sea foam. The clustered setting gives it the feeling of something half-botanical, half-marine: a tidal garden where fruits, pearl, and coral forms have grown together. Invoking a sensuous richness proper to Venus.

Pearls hold a singular place among Venus’s gemstones, regarded in lapidary lore as inherently talismanic and of her very nature. The pearls here bring Venus directly into the composition, while the pink tourmaline and rhodolite garnets extend her palette into the ripe tones of fruit, blossom, and desire.
